The vessel is jacketed with steam condensing at 110°C; the heat-transfer area is 12 m2. The steel walls of the vessel are 10 mm thick. If the solution is at 40°C and the heat-transfer coefficient of the condensing steam is 10 kW/m2·°C, what is the rate of heat transfer between steam and liquid?
