b. Find the sum of your results in part (a). Explain why the sum is not exactly 1.
c. Copy the density histogram on a piece of paper and draw a normal curve that describes the temperature distribution well.
d. Explain why the area under the normal curve you sketched should equal your result in part (b). Your explanation should refer to regions where the curve undercounted or over counted the total area of the bars.
e. If the heights of the bars had been drawn using non- rounded densities, what would the total area of the bars have been? What would the total area under the normal curve have been?
