Results Section Example: A Pearson product-moment correlation coefficient was calculated to assess the relationship between the number of hours spent exercising per week and the number of cups of coffee consumed per week among the nursing graduate students (\(N=50\)). There was a statistically significant, moderate, negative correlation found between hours of exercise and cups of coffee consumed, \(r(48)=-0.45\), \(p=0.001\). This indicates that students who reported exercising more hours per week tended to consume fewer cups of coffee per week. The strength of this relationship suggests that approximately 20% of the variance in coffee consumption can be explained by the hours of exercise (\(R^{2}=0.20\)). Creating a public link
