Simplify and write together in sentences: In conducting descriptive analysis for the General Perception and Knowledge of Artificial Intelligence study using SPSS, we followed several structured analytical steps. First, we imported the dataset of completed surveys into SPSS and checked for missing or incomplete data to ensure accuracy in our analysis. For nominal and ordinal level variables, we computed frequencies and percentages to summarize participant demographics and responses. This involved using the "Frequencies" function in SPSS, where we generated tables displaying the count and percentage of each response category. For interval or ratio level variables, we calculated the mean, standard deviation, minimum, and maximum values, allowing us to understand the central tendency and variability of responses on relevant numeric scales. We utilized the "Descriptives" option in SPSS for this purpose, producing summary statistics that were organized into tables for clearer presentation. Finally, we visually represented the findings through graphs and charts to facilitate interpretation and enhance the reporting of the results.
