Finally, describe how you would convince Reid and Mark of the value of the PMBOK and the benefits it provides. Also discuss why Reid and Mark should be concerned if the other firm they are considering does not follow a standard process.
2. Respond to Mark's claim about the PMP certification being worthless. What value does this certification provide to an individual project manager and the organization he or she works for? Is Mark correct that anyone can take the PMP exam? If not, how would you correct Mark in his understanding? Explain to Mark the entire PMP certification process and describe the other credentials PMI offers. How is the PMP certification different from other similar certifications?
