Assume that you are preparing to interview yourself regarding how you made the decision to attend college. Create a list of interview questions that address personal information you are willing to share with the class. Using these questions, the instructor will conduct a mock interview of each student. Applying the mindset of a forensic accountant, plan your questions to move from the general to the specific. After each question, indicate whether you will answer it truthfully or untruthfully as the mock inter-view progresses. The class will monitor both the verbal and nonverbal communication of the student interviewee in an effort to determine if his or her responses are truthful. The instructor will compile the observations and perceptions of the class and conduct a discussion ­regarding both the effectiveness of the interview (worked and what did not) and what the interviewee’s body language disclosed about the truthfulness of the responses.
