Question:

Discuss the following topics in a precis manner:
Network Security: The common vulnerability that exists in any wired and wireless networks is an "unauthorised access" to a network. An attacker can easily access the network with his device through an unsecure port. Wireless network is very less secure compared to Wired network because the former does not need wired connection. An attacker can exploit the vulnerability by launching the attacks that steal confidential information of some one. Hence network security means an activity designed to protect the integrity of the network which includes both hardware and software technologies.
Security Economies: Economic thinkers must have an enough knowledge and aware of interaction between economics and security. The sparked interest in information security economies came from Banking because banks are generally more liable for cost of card fraud when transaction dispute arises. Security economies deal with economic aspects of privacy and system security. Security Economies addresses behaviours rearding the decisions of the security and privacy.
Side Channel Attacks : The attacks that are based on "Side Channel Information" which can be informed that can be retrieved from device that is neither plain text or nor cipher text.. These attacks can be mounted quickly and sometimes be implemented using readily available hardware costing which vary from few dollars to thousands of dollars. Generally common types of side channel attacks are timing attacks, simple and differential power analysis attacks and fault attacks. Timing attacks are those which measures the time period for the execution of the operations. The side channel attacks are considered as those attacks which try to break out the legal access and deceiving the people.
