Imagine that at the conclusion this course, you will be interviewed by The Christian Science Monitor for their story on the many perspectives about the historical Jesus. It is a brief interview so you must be prepared to offer concise and precise statements about the pre-Easter Jesus. In preparation for the interview be sure to review the Course Outcomes to incorporate at least two of them in your comments.
The interview will include these questions: In what way was the social world of Jesus important to his life and teaching? What was the central message of Jesus and how did he present it?
Explain the difference between the historical person of Jesus and the Christian belief in Jesus today. How and why have your thoughts evolved or not during your study of Jesus?
Write a paper to express and explain the key points you made in the interview.
