Show that the formulas for stratified random sampling in (3.1), (3.3), and (3.5) follow from the formulas for the Horvitz–Thompson estimator in Section 6.4.3. For a stratified random sample, we sample from every stratum in the population. Thus, if we treat strata as if they were psus, πi = 1 for every stratum in the population. Explain in detail.
