Ask someone to do a complete practice interview with you. Your school’s career management office might offer mock interviews, or you can reach out to a business professional you know or an alumnus of your school. You may do this in person or on video, whichever is the more likely way you’ll have your next interview. If you have the opportunity, do one of each.

Rehearse everything. Ask the interviewer to schedule time with you, and show up in appropriate dress. Greet each other, answer an entire set of questions, ask questions at the end, and close the interview.

Ask for feedback about every aspect of the process. Overall, what impression did you make? What came across as your strengths? How can you improve your interview skills?
