Fission reactions in the three operating reactors at the Fukushima Daiichi power plant were shut down immediately when the earthquake struck on March 11, 2011. Three days later, on March 14, decay heat was being produced at a rate of roughly 16 MW. Estimate the mass of water that would be vaporized per minute by this heat. (Recall that 1 W = 1 J/s, so 1 MW is 10⁶ J/s. Assume that the cooling water is initially at 10°C and that once the water is converted to steam at 100°C it is vented from the reactor.)
