I have been tutoring students in math for the past 9 years, after retiring from my career as an engineer/designer. For the first 6 years I tutored strictly privately, one on one at libraries or the student's home. I did my own advertising and increased my business through word of mouth. Then I decided to seek employment with private companies who are involved with academics from k7 through k12. In that roll I have been and still am a one on one tutor, but I also teach classrooms of students primarily in SAT and ACT prep. However, I have also taught classes in Algebra 1 and 2, Geometry, and Precalculus. In additional, I have taught students preparing for the Regent exams in all the math subjects.
