For this project, you will use the telephone directory for your community to estimate the percentage of households that list their phone number but not their address.

Use two different sampling methods, chosen from simple random sampling, stratified sampling, cluster sampling, or systematic sampling. In each case, sample about 100 households and figure out the proportion of those who do not list an address.

a. Explain exactly how you chose your samples.

b. Explain which of your two methods was easier to use.

c. Do you think either of your methods produced biased results? Explain.

d. Report your results, including a margin of error. Are your estimates from the two methods in agreement with each other?
