Sandpebble Builders would renovate certain school buildings in accordance with the requests of the school district. When the school district wanted to renegotiate its contract with the contractor, Sandpebble Builders was not in accordance. The school district voided the contract and terminated relations with Sandpebble Builders. The school district then sought to receive the money it would have put into the project from the builder.
