As at 30 September 2012 the Cash Book reports a bank overdraft of £10,240 whereas the bank statement reports a favourable balance of £5,680. Inquiries reveal as follows:

(i) A cheque for £14,750 drawn in favour of Jerry Ross has been entered twice in the Cash Book.

(ii) Deposits awaiting clearance on this date amount to £4,800.

(iii) A credit transfer of £2,400 from Mandy Pitman, a customer, and bank charges of £15 are yet to be recorded in the Cash Book.

(iv) Any difference may be attributed to cheques drawn but yet to be presented to the bank.


Required:
