a. The following function are defined for 0° ≤ x ≤ 360°.

For each function, write down the amplitude, the period and the coordinates of the maximum and minimum points.

i. f(x) = 7 cos x

ii. f(x) = 2 sin 2x

iii. f(x) = 2 cos 3x

iv. f(x) = 3 sin ½ x

v. f(x) = 4 cos x + 1

vi. f(x) = 5 sin 2x – 2

b. Sketch the graph of each function in part a and use graphing software to check your answers.
