Loaned $15,000 cash to Fargo Co., receiving a six-month, 8% note. Received a $2,000, 60-day, 8% note for a sale to Composite, Inc. Ignore Cost of Goods Sold. Composite, Inc. dishonored its note at maturity. Wrote off the receivable associated with Composite, Inc. (Use the allowance method.) Collected the maturity value of the Fargo Co. note.
