Interview some accounting students at your school. Ask them if they plan to work with entrepreneurs. Ask how they would approach working in a new business.

Ask them why they decided to major in accounting. Contact a local bank or Small Business Administration (SBA) office and ask for an interview with a loan officer. Is there a minimum set of reporting requirements from companies the bank or SBA office does business with? What are the biggest issues involved in dealing with small businesses? What does the loan officer look for in the numbers when evaluating a small business? What does the officer look for outside of the numbers?
