Assume that a testing company approached you and indicated they had developed a test to predict, with a high degree of but not perfect accuracy, the likelihood that individuals you employ would be prone to commit an act of workplace violence. Assume also that the cost of implementing such an employee-testing program was quite reasonable. Would you purchase such a test for use in your operation?
