In a recent ranking of top graduate business schools in the United States published by U.S. News & World Report (March 10, 1997), data were provided on numerous attributes of 25 recognized graduate programs. Specifically, we are now interested in understanding the variation of the average starting base salaries for recent graduates from these programs. The data are in the file P2_8.XLS. Use Excel to construct pivot tables or other descriptive graphs to answer the following questions: 

a. Are higher average GMAT scores for enrolled students associated with higher average starting base salaries for recent graduates from these programs?

b. Are higher average undergraduate grade-point averages for enrolled students associated with higher average starting base salaries for recent graduates from these programs? 

c. Are lower program acceptance rates associated with higher starting base salaries for recent graduates from these programs?

d. What are the limitations of the conclusions you have reached in answering these three questions?
