b) Give a brief report about percentage of voter turnout in the 2011 election.

c) Work out the two numbers: “y + 2 s” and “y – 2 s” and count the number of observations that lie in between (it is easier to count the number that lie outside, then subtract). Is it close to 95%? Did you expect it to be? To count, either use the actual data that are available online, or estimate from the graph above, assuming that data are evenly spaced or spread out across any bin.

d) Since the mean of the percentages is 61.07, we can assume that the percentage of eligible voters in all these ridings combined who went to vote was 61.07%—true or not? Explain.
