Length of piston stroke is 380 mm and the speed of the crank moving the piston is 60 rpm. The suction and delivery heads are 5 m and 20 m respectively. Find the force required to work the piston during the inwards and outwards strokes. Determine the quantity of water in litres per minute raised by the pump and power required.
