A large cruise ship generator was repaired and brought back online by synchronizing with five other generators, which collectively make an infinite bus for the incoming generator. The incoming generator has the synchronous reactance X_s = 1.2 pu, V_T = 1.0 pu, and the field current I_f = 800 A at the time of synchronization. (1) Determine the armature current in pu value when delivering 30% power with rated field current I_f = 800A. 

(2) If the field current is now increased by 50% while keeping the power output the same, determine the new armature current in pu value.
