(d) Can your auto-regressive model be compared by a formal significance test with the auto-regressive model used in Sections 10.11 and 10.13? Compare the fit of the two models as well as possible and consider which should be preferred. Make a graphical comparison of the estimated mean yields of the breeding lines obtained from these two models and consider how much effect the choice between them will have on the decisions made by a plant breeder.
