To check the strength of carbon steel for use in chain links, the yield stress of a random sample of 25 pieces was measured, yielding a mean and a standard deviation of 52,800 psi and 4,600 psi, respectively. Establish tolerance limits with \(\alpha=0.05\) and \(P=0.99\), and express in words what these tolerance limits mean.
