The United States is divided into 12 Federal Reserve districts, each with a District Bank. These Districts and the locations for the District Bank in each region are shown in Figure 10.4. Do some research to find out why the districts are divided as they are, why the District Banks are located in the 12 cities shown in Figure 10.4, and why so many districts are located in the Eastern portion of the United States.
