Working in groups of three, role-play the initial client interview described in Chapter 9 between Katherine Baranski and the legal team—attorney Allen Gilmore and paralegal Elena Lopez. Attorney Gilmore will need to prepare a list of questions and will ask most of the questions during the interview. Paralegal Lopez will take notes during the interview, provide the retainer agreement and release forms, and schedule the follow-up interview. Change roles if time allows.
