Between 2015 and 2018, the average monthly rent doubled in Budapest. On average, the real estate rent increased from 130 thousand Hungarian forint or Ft (€420) per month in 2017 to 140 thousand Ft (€450) in 2018. At the same time, a large number of condos are being built across the Hungarian capital. How is this possible?
