There is an excellent open data portal for the City of Edmonton, Canada. One data set comes from a survey to gather community insight, including residents, opinion about drones. Two drone aspects participants answered were as follows:
• Unrestricted use will cause an invasion of privacy.
• I have concerns with the noise unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV)/drones could create in residential areas or parks.
Does the opinion of residents about drones invading their privacy depend on their concerns of the noise drones may create? Answer this question using the variables “Q17_DroneandPrivacy” and “Q17_DroneandNoise” in the file “Edmonton_Insight_Community.” Use 10% significance.
