Question:
An annotated bibliography is a list of sources that includes a brief annotation (summary and analysis) for each source listed. Several examples are posted on Bb and on OWL.
Your annotated bibliography should be a compilation of sources that are connected with the issue or problem you plan to discuss in your final persuasion/position/argument paper (something related to your academic or professional goals). Most importantly, this list will allow you to select an appropriate text for your rhetorical analysis.
The bibliography must
• include five academic sources. This means NO websites.
• Be titled in such a way that your reader understands this to be an annotated bibliography on a particular subject
For each entry you will include
• A one or two sentence summary and
• A one or two sentence evaluation (such as what is the source good for? Does it seem credible and believable? What are its strengths or weaknesses?).
Your annotation will be no more than one paragraph. The examples on OWL are lengthier than I want yours to be. Instead, use the examples in our Bb folder as models. Your annotation will not include how you plan to use the source in your paper.
