Create a Responsive Relationships Plan that demonstrates cultural competence and describes how you will use evidence based practices to promote child, family and community relationships that enhance children’s development and learning.

Choose one of the following age groups on which to focus: zero to two, three to five (not in K), or five to eight. And write a paper in which you need to address the following:

How will you individualize support for each child in a manner respectful to his/her family’s beliefs and expectations? How will you establish respectful relationships with parents and families? How will you support parent and family development of the five Protective Factors? Creating reciprocal and respectful relationships within the community–

How does this help children and families? How will you plan for building positive relationships within the community? Responsive teaching and/or care giving behaviors that promote social and emotional competence. How will you develop positive reciprocal relationships between yourself and the children in your care? How will you support children in developing positive peer relationships?
