How the internet can play an instrumental role in helping businesses succeed. the article titled get high on google spoke about the importance of using keywords that customers would use to do find websites. according to this article, businesses should ask customers what words they use when searching as opposed to just putting words that it thinks is necessary. businesses are successful when they meet the needs of their clients whether through market research or sorting through complaints by providing solutions to problems their clients may encounter. through my research, this week i explored external factors which can have a negative impact on windows wear and their goals. as an extension of doing a swot analysis i turned the issues facing customers into an opportunity for windows wear to not only excel in sales but to set it apart from it’s competitors. an example of an external economic issue affecting windows wear is the nation’s crime rate. to be more precise the growing amount of cybercrime and it’s impact on consumer confidence in doing online transactions. i explored the issue of how windows wear can use this opportunity to set themselves apart from their competition by taking a more sophisticated approach to protecting the personal information of their members. this can be achieved by working with state of the art security firms and law enforcement agencies in order to create a patented security system that would only be used by windows wear. in my research and as well as personal life, i noticed that the plus size market has potential that can translate into increased sales for windows wear . in my research i suggested problems that the plus size shopper may encounter when purchasing clothing online and how windows wear can position themselves to solve these problems . windows wear can use it’s presence in a museum to promote the plus size woman as being trendy and beautiful. according to my research, women in this particular category respond when advertisements are presented in a sophisticated manner, showing them that a plus size woman can be beautiful and trendy. further details are listed in my research. some of the problems i encountered while doing my research was that many articles have essential information but are not current as i would prefer and had to keep reading tons of articles which can seem overwhelming at times. as i become more familiar with databases via the hours spent researching i am getting better at sorting through articles and finding useful information. in efforts to be a team player i am making it my priority to submit my work in advance so my team has better chances of getting a good score. throughout the week i check into the discussion boards several time to stay up to date on how the project is coming along.
