Within my organization the role all three of the roles discussed in the article; some position descriptions from each role would fall under the responsibility of our VP or Director, Human Resource Manager, Human Resource Business Partner. We also have Training Specialist in HR that provides training to our field support personnel. At the corporate level there would be another group of HR professionals that would handle benefits and payroll and Talent Acquisition Specialists that would be responsible for hiring and recruitment of new talent within the organization. Although the role of a human resource professional has changed greatly over the years from secretarial duties, the HR department also has Administrative Assistants in roles to support with secretarial duties, such as paperwork, scheduling meetings, assisting with event planning and other secretarial duties as needed.
