Today, and in years to come, human resource management will be affected by all of these challenges. Diversity is very important in all organizations. I believe that businesses strive when there is a mixture of different and diverse talents. With the different genders, cultural backgrounds, ages, lifestyles and physical abilities, an organization can respond to business opportunities more quickly and creatively. This is important since there are more potential business opportunities globally with organizations looking to expand their market.
Retaining employees with high skill levels will also affect many organizations. Having the right people with the right skills is an asset to any company. Technology is changing rapidly and the future of an organizations success will rely on having employees that can meet the demands of this new technology. The quality of management and the relationship with management is very important to retention. By offering competitive benefits and perks, employees will appreciate this and this may convince them to stick around a while longer. By retaining quality employees, human resources saves on time and money by not having to interview, test and train others to replace these valuable employees.
