We would like to make a small model for the following use case. A major cartoon studio does up to a dozen cartoons a year. Cartoons have a title and may be black and white (B/W) or color.
Some of the years have no cartoons.
Each cartoon has at least one character. Character may be a human or an animal or an animated non-living thing. Each character has a name. Each character has a gender. Each character has at least one associated actor who does a voice over. There may be more than one actor per character. For the purposes of this exercise, these cartoons are NOT SERIES.
Create a model that has tables in at least third normal form. Use any notation – but make sure that one to one, one to many, many to many, none or one to one ( many, etc.) are reflected. If you use IDEF1X, please, make sure that you reflect weak and strong entities.
