Strategic choices for each of the issues, a choice of strategy must be made and defended based upon the objectives and evaluation of the alternatives in step 3.

Often, part of that justification of choice is financial in nature. Steps 3 and 4 are at the heart of the task. Action plan and implementation the specific steps, resources and timing to carry out the proposal of step 3 should be detailed. This should include such items as a quarterly plan, proposed budget, and indication of impacts of the effort on organizational systems. If alternative means are available for putting the proposal into place, these should be detailed and the choices made defended. Appendices there should /appendices in the paper which set out your team’s evaluation of the firm’s environmental, industry and internal situation. These should be comprehensive in their coverage.
