"What are the NPV,Pi And IRR for projects A and B""What has caused the ranking conflicts? Should Project A and B be chosen?"

I am a bit confused as to how they calculacted the following NPV Value for both Project A & B.

I understand

NPV = CashFlow/(1+I).. etc

But in the following question they do not give us I (discount rate)? So where do they obtain the value of the discount rate from?
