Client presented with nervousness, anxiety, always on the edge, super irritable and loss of sleep. She doesn't get enough sleep because she finds herself working at odd hours which invariably impedes her sleeping time. Client has a history of anxiety. She had stated that she had sought therapy for her anxiety years ago. Client has a very large family who tends to see her as a solution to everything, which puts her in a position where she carries everyone on her back and does everything for everyone. She has difficulty delegating tasks because she lacks trust, they can handle those tasks. Client has a history of having a hard time sleeping and being on the edge, which is not unrelated to how much she always has on her plates. Her symptoms meet the criteria for generalized anxiety disorder.
