Discussion DetailsModule 2 Discussion Option One: Prenatal Environmental Influences

1. Imagine you have been asked by a local health department to speak to a group of newly pregnant women about prenatal environmental influences.
2. Select and describe three specific topics to include in your discussion. Discuss what expecting parents should know about various teratogens, maternal disease, exercise, nutrition, and/or emotional stress, or other issues that affect the developing fetus.
3. Provide recommendations to promote a healthy pregnancy. Finally, explain why you chose to include the information you selected above other topics.
4. Use research cited in the text to support your answers.
