For this discussion you will be demonstrating your understanding of compound inequalities and the effect that dividing by a negative has on an inequality. Solving an inequality is much like solving an equation. You can either split up your first inequality problem into two parts or solve it together.Remember, when you multiply or divide both sides of an inequality by a negative, you should reverse the inequality symbol.
