Jenny Smith owns Classle Photography Inc., a company that restoees photos for its clients and creates electronlc images from the restored photos. The company also frames restored photos and creates sophlsticated custom artwoeks. Artworks include materlals such as glass and frames that are purchased from local suppliers. In addition to sapplies for displays, the company purchases office supplies and packaging materlals from several vendors.

Classic Photography uses an off$-$the$-$shelf sccounting software package to peepare internal doouments and reports. As employees note a need for supplies and materlals, they seed an e$-$mall to Jenny, who acts as the office manager and company accountant. Eicher Jenny or her assistant Donas enters order Information into the accounting system and creates a purchase order that is faxed to the suppller. Jenny or Donna may also cail the suppller If there is something spectal about the product ordered.

When ordered materials and supplies arrive, elther Jenny or Donna checks the goods recelved against a copy of the purchase order and enters the new inventory into the computer system. Jenny pays b$/$tls twice each month, on the fisst and the fifteenth. She checks the computer syntem for involoes outstanding and verlfles that the goods have been recelved. She then emters any Inflomation needed to produce peinted checks from the accoanting system. Classle Photography mails checks and printed remittance advices $($portlons of the vendor bill to be retarned$)$ to suppliers.
