Background: You are an executive team at a small company (~75 employees, total). Recently, managers and execs in the company latched onto a leadership/organizational development expert who prioritizes culture. The expert says culture is the only thing leaders should focus on, that the right culture cues and practices will allow leaders to simultaneously motivate & retain employees. In other words, the expert claims culture is the only driver (X variable) that mattersas it relates to the model on the first page of each of your book chapters (i.e., culture drives satisfaction, trust, motivation, fairness, and performance, commitment).
