1. ASAN Corp. builds rockets which it uses to deploy satellites into space. The launch of such a rocket is considered an abnormally dangerous activity. The ASAN launch pad is in the middle of the Jawbone Desert which is 95 miles from the nearest residence. ASAN has posted signs throughout the Jawbone Desert warning of the danger of the launch. ASAN employees have searched a ten square mile area around the launch site to make sure no one is in the area. The rocket is launched and after rising 1000 feet, it explodes. Six miles from the launch site, Dusty Geezer is searching for uranium and is struck by a piece of debris from the exploding rocket. Dusty sues ASAN Corp. in the tort of strict liability.
