Cite your references (author, title, Journal/Book, Issue (number), Date). b. (25 points) Present a case (an argument) that Lean Production is a superior manufacturing method to Mass Production. Notes: (1) The audience for your argument is not familiar with Lean. (2) Develop the argument: propose the idea, develop the idea, conclude the idea. (3) Evidence for Lean's superiority (example: data that resulted in Figure 2.2, MCW). (4) Specific comparisons between Mass and Lean (minimum 2). Do not compare GM Framingham with Toyota Takaoka. Do not use floor space as a comparison. (5) It is only acceptable to use percentages when referencing the actual data you have presented.
