Question:
1. Consolidating information for recruiting areas when enlisting soldiers into the Army is always a major problem at the Pentagon. There is a table below that shows the number of soldiers recruited each month for each recruiting district in 2017. Present the most important statistics (you choose what to use) and define them (explain the methodology you are using), so that the Pentagon has a more workable set of statistics to send out to the press.

Question # 2
Part A: Create three double blind draws of at least thirty monthly recruiting point totals for the set of Recruiting Teams, below, to analyze them for their annual performance awards. These teams are made up of multiple recruiting offices similar to those in Question #1, but are for a larger defined area. State what your double blind criteria (how you decided to make the draw) were, draw the numbers and analyze their critical statistics as you did for the table in Question 1.
Part B: What is your statistical error in points awarded? What do these statistics tell you? .
Illustrate the Method: Step 1: Calculate the mean (Total of all samples divided by the number of samples). Step 2: Calculateeach measurement's deviation from the mean (Mean minus the individual measurement). Step 3: Square each deviation from mean. Squared negatives become positive. When you are done the illustration of your confidence interval should be approximately 16% making your error + or - 8%.
Part C: If you were to use a Monte Carlo Methodology, how would you have drawn the numbers? Describe with an example.

Question 3:
Part A: From the scores and your analysis of question 2, who are your top 5 recruiting teams from 2015?
Part B: Calculate your confidence levels for the scores and data you used in Question 2. Explain your methodology.
Question 4: Develop the null and alternative hypothesis for choosing your most competitive recruiting teams.
Part A: What hypothesis method (of the three we studied) are you choosing and why?
Part B: State the hypothesis both null and alternative.
