He argued that according to the Employment Act 1955, he should be served with four-weeks notice. However, the company states that Danny is not subject to the Employment Act 1955 because his salary is more than RM2000. The company also reminds Danny, according to his employment contract, he is not allowed to work in any company for three (3) years after the termination in order to prevent any confidential information regarding the company to be leaked to other company. The company threaten to take legal action against Danny if he breaches the terms. Advise Danny whether his right has been violated under employment law. (20 marks)
