$1-$ Define the Situation and Problem Statement:

Situation is a synopsis of the concerns and issues discussed in the case. It is looking at the

case from a Bird$$s Eye view without making any decisions on what should be done to

approach the problem. It is similar to an elevator talk on answering what is going on$,$ not

what should be done. Here you only see the forest from a long distance above and notice

there is something unusual such as smoke. At this stage in your report, you should

briefly, in a couple of sentences explain the situation and the problem faced by the

company.
