1. Discuss data analysis and the validity and reliability of data in the following proposed research study. Research question; Are students at Minnesota State University, Mankato happy with tobacco cessation materials offered by Community Health Education? A post electronic questionnaire will be provided to the students to determine how happy they are with the tobacco cessation materials offered to them, if the tobacco cessation materials were useful, if education was provided to them on the materials available, if the materials helped them quit smoking, and if they felt happier since utilizing the materials. I will also include a comments section, so the students are able to provide any additional comments about the study. I selected a questionnaire to collect data because according to the University of Hawaii at Manoa (2012) the questionnaire responses can be coded and analyzed in an excel spreadsheet for the questionnaire responses of strongly disagree, somewhat disagree, neutral, somewhat agree or strongly agree. I could display the results in a chart, showing the percentage of students who agreed to the responses on the questionnaire.
