3. Priti Awfell is the Home Secretary (a senior government minister incharge of a government department called the Home Office). ThePrime Minister, Joris Bonson, has been advised by members of staffin the Home Office that Awfell has been bullying them. Awfell alsorecently stated in the House of Commons that her department hadestablished visa application centres to process refugee applicationsin France. This claim was in fact untrue. The Prime Ministerrecently repeated the same claim in Parliament while defending theHome Secretary. Members of Parliament are calling for the issue ofbullying to be investigated. They are also calling for the HomeSecretary and the Prime Minister to resign for lying in parliamentabout the visa centres.
