Use float to line up the two paragraphs as columns side by side.

In an external style sheet, give the header and two paragraphs a border and/or a background color.

2. Make a navigation button using a div with a link inside it.

3. Use the external style sheet to give the navigation button:

background

text color

make them change when the user hovers the mouse over the button.

Note that some warnings may be unavoidable, but your CSS should have no errors.
